The Fed is going to announced changes to its stimulus plan. It could provoke a crash, or a mini crash. Anyway, the TSX could closed lower today - be aware and play safe.
For me, I transfer 7k over my margin - I am that scare and I want a peaceful day at work, without worries.

BOO! No change to stimulus... BTW, you would probably get a few days to fix your margin if you got called on it.

I don't ever want a margin call of my life, that's why I am taking action BEFORE anything bad happen.
I taught today was going to be a bad day, and it is not.
It can't be enjoyable to be playing these games with your margin. You're really not making the returns to warrant such risk.
Where did the $7K come from that you xfered to your margin? I didn't think you had ANY liquid assets.

what's the point of doing this? if you get a margin call no big deal just cover and transfer the money once you are told to do so...
if you are too worried do not invest on margin no point.
