When the TSX go down and that it seem it could go down much more... there's nothing much we can do about it, despite all the frustrations. But hey, repeat Derek Foster words with me: "Reject fashion and hyper-consumption and only buy what truly adds value to your life".
I am rejecting fashion and hyper-consumption of my life.
I am rejecting fashion and hyper-consumption of my life.
I am rejecting fashion and hyper-consumption of my life.
(I will try).
Me, too. Not easy when the world is a beautiful place and there are many gorgeous bits & pieces, here and there and all around that we can add to our lives in order to enhance our enjoyment. But, we have to find beauty in the stuff we already own and in nature and in people. No more pretty pink polish for me. Nix on the blue floral dishes. Who needs sexy boots? It's all about plumping up that TFSA because we will soon be OLD, which is better than dead but not as much fun as being semi-young and enjoying a few beautiful bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteI'm noticing that more and more people are adopting this strategy. I call it "the new thrift." But I don't think you buy very much anyway, do you?
ReplyDeleteI am like everyone else. I spent a lot this past summer. I love makeup, clothes... I need to watch my expenses constantly.
