I had hoped to hit a major financial milestone by my 44th birthday on August 27, but it happened just a few days later. Today, my net worth closed the session at an impressive $444,372.36, a number that feels quite fitting as I celebrate my 44th year.
A key highlight of today's session was Savaria Corporation (SIS) announcing a dividend increase of +3.85%. I hold shares of Savaria in my non-registered, TFSA, and RRSP portfolios, so this increase directly boosts my dividend income. It’s always exciting when a company you’re invested in decides to reward shareholders in this way.
As a result of this dividend increase, my monthly dividend income from my non-registered and TFSA portfolios now stands at $912. When I include the dividends from my RRSP portfolio, my total annual dividend income exceeds $13,000. Reaching these numbers has been a long journey of strategic investments, and seeing that dividend income grow feels like a reward in itself.
With Savaria's latest move and my growing dividend streams, I’m looking forward to what the future holds as my portfolios continue to evolve.
