With the TSX closing today’s session at 25,049.67 points, I was curious to calculate my net worth. I recently sold the BCE shares in my non-registered portfolio, so I wanted to see how the numbers would shape up. My finances remain strong; while I haven’t exceeded my all-time high net worth of $461,948.22 from October 17. At currently $460,527.54, showing good stability.
As of today, my non-registered portfolio stands at $156,658.17, my US portfolio at $8,524.04 CAD, my TFSA portfolio at $153,746.40, and my RRSP stocks-only portfolio at $72,651.15. Thanks to the BCE sale, my margin debt has been reduced to $3,679.54. The interest rate on my margin debt is currently 7.50%—quite high, which is why I find it important to pay it off as quickly as possible.
I don’t recall updating my investment portfolio while the TSX was at 25,000 points, so this is likely a first for me.
