Working on HubPages like crazy

I surprise myself this morning: I wake up at 9 :30am… I have laundry to do and stuff I wanted to be done before I go to work. I am working this weekend on both days – Saturday and Sunday – which is great because I really need the money. Everything is going fine at my evening job. Cash come in pretty easily. My portfolio (stocks and unit funds alone) currently worth 22 926.13$. TSX is up to an awesome 10 693 points this morning as I wake up.

I wasn’t able to begin my job search for a day-time job as I always went to bed so late, the next morning; I usually wake up around 1:30pm. The problem is that I really had a great time on HubPages. I wrote several articles on different topic. My latest articles were not as long as I wanted, but I put it publish as soon as I reach what I consider my minimum amount of world: around 400 worlds. The best is always to have a long article of about 1 000 world pack with a bunch of key worlds. But one publish on HubPages, an article can be modify. I can add content to my articles at any time. I now had published 21 articles on HubPages.

Since I started on HubPages, I Google AdSense income had sensibly increased. Yesterday, it had increased of 10 cents. With Google AdSense, the payout is of 100$. I am only missing 71.31$ to reach it. I cannot wait to receive my first Google check! It’s going to be so great! I belive I can make money from AdSense with HubPages, I just need to continue to write articles on a regular basis. It’s not as easy as it’s sound. I spend around 4 to 5 hours on each articles…

The difficulties come from the part that I am writing in English. It’s really a challenge. But it’s also difficult to make money from HubPages for English speaker too. It takes hundred of articles before an individual like myself can make good profit of HubPages. I had been active on HubPages for 3 weeks now and what I notice: the traffic. I have more traffic on my HubPages articles than on this blog alone!

Because everyday is magic

I wake up late again, but I was really in need of a morning sleep. Too much are in my head and I work a lot this weekend. I spend most of my free time on HubPages and, believe it or not, I spend hours trying to write those articles! I am now at 16 articles on HubPages. I have plenty of ideas on stuff to write about. I am only missing time and some good and solid English skills…

As always when I wake up, I take a look at my portfolio and… The TSX is up to more than 10 700 points… Really extraordinary. But if it ever felt again, it’s going to be a major deception for everyone out there. My sell order for Dumont Nickel (DNI) at 0.04 cents hasn’t been executed. In the meantime, Dumont Nickel (DNI) remains in my portfolio at 0.03 cents per stock – quite nice, I purchased the 23 000 stocks at 3 cents… No money lost (or just the too high commission fee of 29$ – TD Waterhouse), no money made…

But… My portfolio is getting beautiful everyday… My stocks and units portfolio is now at 23 198.41$, which is a jump of 314.41$ compare to the 22 884$ of July 25, 2009. And if we calculate 314.41$ + 48 591.98$ = 48 906.39$...

Which mean: I am currently only missing 1 093.61$ to reach my first 50 000$.

Is this real?

So far, the Derek Foster strategy is working fine for me. I hope to recover from my loses very soon. My loses are only my fault. Timminco (TIM), Sprott Inc. (SII) or the Sprott Canadian Equity Fund were my own pick and I failled with those investments.

But I am mostly proud of Fortis (FTS), Just Energy Income Fund (JE.UN), Methanex (MX), Yellow Pages Income Fund (YLO.UN). Those were nice picks. But remember I am not a specialist... Funny thing is the stock market.

Nice weekend but too much rain

This weekend had been quite fun even if on Saturday, I present myself to work and I was not on the schedule, only for next Satuday. This Sunday was very long at work. I wonder if we will have wok for the whole month of August. Since I was not working on Saturday, I had been able to clean my missy one and half apartment. I also went shopping. I only have my laundry left.

Me writing stuff on HubPages

I start working on different articles on HubPages. I now have 16 articles on HubPages. My latest is about Lauren Luke, a YouTube icon that recently lauched her own makeup product line. With the help of HubPages, my online income slowly begins to increase. I will probbaly need to write hundred and hundred of articles before being able to make money fromHubPages. At this point, I am not really in for the money, for once in my life lol, but more for the fun of it. I really enjoy HubPages. I like to see the ranking and the amount of visitors I received for each of my articles. I begin by writing around 1000 words article. The latest are shorter. I might ad some content to them later on. For now, HubPages is just about fun.

I need to sign up for my health insurance

Today, after eating a Tim Horton donut, I discover I might have problem with my teeth. I didn’t visit a dentist for quite a time and now I am paying the price. I just hate going to dentist. I am afraid of their tools, but most of all, I am afraid of AIDS and other diseases. Very bizarre of me to think this way, but I cannot help it. My teeth are not hurting otherwise, only when I am eating something with a lot of sugar in it, which doesn’t arrive really often. But I need to take care of this little problem before my teeth really begin to hurt for real.

I didn’t sign up for the health insurance group we have available at my evening job and I had been working there for almost 2 years now. It had been recommended to me to sign up: it may help me to save on taxes. And it will also help me to save on my dentist visit. I really need to register as soon as possible.

Job searching for real

I am really packed for tomorrow with all the things I have to do. I plan to begin job searching after that. I have the chance to have a fix schedule at my evening job, so I told myself I should seek for a day-time job. I could make a lot of money just like before. This time, the job searching deal is for real.

I am now at a fantastic 48 591.98$!!!

And guess what? I am only missing 1 408.02$ to hit the magic 50 000$ in assets! I am turning 29 in August, and the best for me will be to reach 50 000$ just in time for my 29 birthday. Bu it won’t be tragic if doesn’t happen.

When I saw the TSX up to points this last Friday, I couldn’t help it, I absolutely have to calculate the value of my assets. And things are really getting hot in my stock portfolio.

I now worth 48 091.64$!

The TSX is now at 10 675.68 points! I was really excited about it. And I was even happier when I read on Yahoo! (Canadian) Welcome Page that the recession was over in Canada.

I calculate the overall value of my investments and… I am now at a fantastic 48 091.64$! If only the TSX could just continue gaining points like this and reach the old 15 000 points, I could easily reach 50 000$ value in investment by doing nothing at all.

Those are good news. But still, the TSX could loose some points again. I don’t think the recession is over yet, things are just getting better. I am looking forward for a gradual progression. I want real and solid gain asset.

Healthy PGF.UN dividend

I had received 53$ in Pengrowth Energy Trust (PGF.UN) dividend. The dividend earning allows me to earn 6 extra units. I now own 636 units of Pengrowth Energy Trust (PGF.UN). And good news, PGF.UN had announces a 10 cents distribution for the month of August. In August, it’s 63.60$ I will earn from PGF.UN alone.

I received my vacation pay from my weekend job. With my next pay check of my evening job that I am expecting next week, I should be all fine to pay my living expenses for the month of August. For month of July, I am making up to 3 000$, but it’s because this month, we have a fantastic 5 weeks month. My upcoming dividend should be of 49.98$ from Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) and 20.07$ from Just Energy Income Fund (JE.UN).

I wasn’t able to sell Dumont Nickel (DNI) yet. My order to sell the 23 000 stocks at 4 cents per stock is valid until July 31. I am confident I will be able to sell DNI at 4 cents – but the problem is I don’t know when. I would very need the order to be executed by the end of September. This way, I could pay off my TD Visa credit card debt. I only have left 2 716$ to pay. I would like to clear it all by the end of September. I cannot carry over heavy debt forever.

I am now at 47 154.39$!

And guess what, I am now only missing 2 845.61$ in order to finally reach my first 50 000$! I had been working on this project for about 3 years now and it’s about time I reach my goal! Those are exciting times for me. I am sooo close to my goal!

This week had been crazy. It had been a great week, at the exception that I ruin out of luck for my weekend job as I call too late to say I was available. I really have enough of that job and I am looking forward to get something else. I had been working there for a very long time now and I don’t even get a little of respect and consideration. At least, I am getting my vacation pay for next week. Seem like in life, all my frustrations are coming from my jobs. Can I wait any longer to leave the workplace? NO… lol.

This weekend is going to be the first time I ever had 2 days off in a row for a really long time! Hope it’s going to be a nice weekend. I plan to work on some other HubPages articles to occupy myself and forget about my problems.

I just purchase 100 units of PGF.UN at 8.67$

What a hot deal! 100 units of Pengrowth Energy Trust Income Fund (PGF.UN) at 8.67$ each! And the TSX up to 10 312 points! It would be nice if Pengrowth Energy Trust could get higher in value today. The value of my stock portfolio is now at 21 759.21$!

A day full of surprises!

I was extremely tired today when I wake up and I only bring Noodles for my lunch lol. I went to bed at 5AM! I am very passionate about my new HubPages and my latest article talk about my best saving tips, some information you won’t get here! What to do with a 1 000$ in my banking account?

This “afternoon” lol when I wake up, I went online on my banking account and… oh surprise I had 1 060$ available! I was very excited because this meant that I could to my next investment as soon as this very upcoming Friday! I visit a TD Trust branch before going to work to make a deposit of 200$ on my credit card and 800$ on my credit line. I only have left 2 916.42$ to pay on my credit card (which is at a special interest rate) which is not that bad. I should probably pay off this debt but guess what; I have a transfer offer coming from RBC at 2.99%... Just so hilarious. I am not even done with a special interest rate from TD Visa that I am going to get another on, even at a cheaper interest rate, with RBC Visa!

My very next investment

Today, Pengrowth Energy Trust Income Fund (PGF.UN) close at 8.62$. I plan to purchase 100 exra units of Pengrowth Energy. After what, it’s 630 units of PGF.UN that I will own. My dividend income with Pengrowth Energy Trust Income Fund (PGF.UN) will increase from 53$ to 63$.

Thinking about it, it’s easier to make money from dividend than to make money online from advertisements, articles and other lol. I am very happy with this upcoming investment. After this, I am going to be done with Pengrowth Energy Trust Income Fund (PGF.UN) investment (remember the diversification rule!!).

After what, I will be at 1 791.32$ in yearly dividend income for 2009! I will than be very close to my goal which is to reach 2 000$ in dividend income by the end of the summer.

My weekend job is back!

I listen to my voicemail late in the evening. I had one message saying that work is back available at my weekend job! The break didn’t last for long. Now that I have 60$ left in my banking account, I really need my weekend job back. And it’s now back!

I received 13.13$ in dividend from Pembina Pipeline Income Fund (PIF.UN)

I think I might have done some mistakes with my Dividend Calendar Earnings because I had received Pembina Pipeline Income Fund dividend on today. I received 13.13$ in dividend from PIF.UN. It was a huge surprise to see I had 13.13$ in cash in my broker TD Waterhouse account when I open it up this evening.

As you can see, my day had been very exhausting and fantastic.

TSX at a fantastic 10 238.79 points!

The markets are so difficult to follow. When I saw the TSX falling under 10 000 points previously last week, I taught that, maybe, maybe Derek Foster was right after all! Should I sale everything all just like him?

I am not a specialist, but my answer to the question has always been the same: there will be no sale! And look now, the crazy TSX going up again! UP TO 10 238.79!!! But be ready to see the TSX down to under 10 000 points at any time as Obama announced he’s ready to have even more job losses in the US in the upcoming! Derek Foster might be right after all!

My HubPages adventure

Anyway, while TSX was acting foolishly, I worked on different articles for HubPages. HubPages is very fantastic! It’s allowing “writers” (like myself lol) to make money from their articles. I find it so difficult on Associated Content!

HubPages is a lot easier because as soon as your article is ready, you can publish it. I got 2 articles of mine flag because of too much of “self-promotion” lol. But I remove all appearances of My First 50 000$ and voilà, the 2 articles where back online the day after! Vey quick, easy and fun! So far, I wasn’t able to make any money from my articles. My Google AdSense income for now remains the same. Sniff sniff…

What to do with a 1 000$

This month, I will have 1 000$ available for investment. I taught about investing 1 000$ more in the Creststreet Alternative Energy Fund. But than, I remember my dividend goal, and I taught, why not try to invest 1 000$ in Pengrowth Energy Trust (PGF.UN)?

Almost enough to purchase a metro pass.
