Save money while you can: precious money, precious saving

A new year always welcome new dreams – in my case it’s to hit the 300k net worth by the end of the year 2018. It’s doable, but only in a good stock market environment. 2017 had been so chaotic, it’s quite difficult to predict if 2018 will be a good year or not, especially since the status of NAFTA is not clarify by our “friends” in the USA. Overall, 2017 had been a good year for my investments.
I had spent a good two weeks away from Montreal, which was really awesome. Now that I am hitting back in my regular days, my 2018 resolution is to spend less. I always been a good saver, but in some occasions, I spent more than I should, especially for clothes, make-up and hair products. Hair products is my ultimate weakness, as well as make-up, lipsticks…… Being a girl involved much more spending than just being a simple guy. From the moment we are born, girls face many challenge.

Knowing I closed the year 2017 with a net worth of 221k – I am just so close of the 300k, it would be just very stupid of me if I wouldn’t be trying to save all the money I possibly can in the year ahead. The half million could be all mine by the time I turn 40 – but at probably the only condition that I hit on the 300k this year. Nothing is impossible. There’s no magic trick, saving money is super hard, but I am a natural at it, as I know exactly what are my weaknesses. And ever since my salary start growing, I had become more and more of a spender. It’s something really normal, anyone goes through such things. My 221k is more than I ever taught I could ever have, so why pushing more?
Well for many reasons: the more money you have, the better, 221k is not that much, and I don’t have too much in term of cold cash saving in the bank. And I would like to have a real $300 000 of my own. So why not?

Just the fact that I stop coloring my hair is helping a lot. Visit to the hair dresser and products for color hair are just very expensive. My natural color is showing more and more. After all those years, I had forgot what it was looking like. And it’s not ugly. For my part, I am really done coloring my hair. It’s just too much time and money consuming.

Once I get myself into something, I am getting in completely. And it should be the same for you. Some expose the art of saving money very simply: make your own coffee, bring your lunch to work… Good tips, but to be really efficient, you need to go much deeper than that. That’s why I am writing the following post. We are going to explore some very personal ways that your favorite Dividend Girl has to save money.

1 – Establish your monthly budget

Establish a sharp – but not too sharp budget – this means, establish a realistic budget, that include all of your needs. To do so, you need to know where your money go every month. And after that, try to spend less than plan every weeks.

First, establish your monthly basic budget:

MONTHLY BUDGET
Grocery: $280 - $70 per week
Coffee: $60 - $15 per week
Rent: $665
Internet: $45.34
Cell: $40.24
Weekend money: $20
Gym membership: $14.38

TOTAL : $1 124.96

$13 499.52 for 1 year: very basic fix needs

Your monthly budget should include all your fix charges, like cable if you have it, cell phone, rent, etc…. In my case, the fix charges are limited to a few things. The less you have to pay out the better. This is for the basic expenses. As you doubt, other expenses need to be taking into consideration. But let’s talk money first.

2 - How much do you normally earn in a year
INCOME
In this section, you need to include all your sources of income: job (but only after taxes), online income if you have any and of course, dividend earnings.
Job (after taxes): $35 300
Online: 500 $
Dividend: 7 980 $ (approximately, I didn’t have time t update my dividend income yet)
TOTAL: $43 780

For 2018, I estimate my income to be of $43 780.

Let see how money I will have to play around and to invest:
$43 780 (income) – $13 499.52 (very basic needs): 30 280.48 $

This means I have left $30 280.48 to do whatever I want with it.

I have calculate my very basic needs, but that’s not exactly realist to what I will be spending in a year. Because other than my basic needs, I have other sphere of expensive. In other to track them, you need to know yourself. Do you know how you spend your money? I do. And it’s how it goes for me:

3 - Money spend on vacations
VACATION:

Cuba: $1 370

Easter vacation: $350

Summer vacation: $3 000

Extra spending during the summer: $200

October vacation: $350

Christmas: $820

TOTAL for vacations: $6 090

Establish a budget for your vacations is really essential.

3 - Other regular living expenses

And now, you need to write down all of the other expenses that you’ll be doing in the year ahead.

OTHER EXPENSES:

HAIR CUT: 5 times this year @ $40: $200

CLOTHES: $1 200 - $300 per season, not much, but I already have plenty of clothes…

CLEANING PRODUCTS: I always buy them at Dollorama. To clean my apartment, and floor, I like to use Pine-Sol, it’s at $2.50 at Dollarama. I never calculated how long a bottle last me, same thing for dish soap, windex or cleaning products for the bath room. I estimate 2 products at $3 each per 2 months and 1 product at $3 per month: $72

TOILET PAPERS: $10 per 2 months (let say...): $60

LAUNDRY TICKETS FOR CLOTHES: $6 per week: $312

LAUNDRY TICKETS FOR SHEETS: $6 per 2 weeks : $144

LAUNDRY SOAP: $10 per 2 months: $60

VITAMINS:
Jamieson 100% Complete Multivitamin for Women: $16 per 2 months: $96
Caltrate with Vitamin D3 Soft Chews Chocolate, Bone Health Supplement, 600 mg Calcium: $102
Jamieson Magnesium: $56

ADVIL: $54

F PADS: $144

BODY SOAP: $27

SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER: $144

MAKEUP: $480

DRIVER LICENCE RENEWAL: $91.33

Total of the OTHER EXPENSES: $2 042.33

Those are all the expenses I can possibly think of. Let see what is now left for investment purposes:
INCOME – BASIC MONTHLY NEEDS – VACATIONS – OTHER EXPENSES = MONEY LEFT TO INVEST AND SAVE
$43 780 – $13 499.52 – $2 042.33 : $22 148.15

In my current situation, I have the possibility to save approximately 22k this year – and even more if I get myself into it. I cannot cut anywhere in the vacations section, so I am looking forward to cut in the expenses.

Example of what I can do to save money – other than bringing your lunch to work:

For one week, let say that I don’t buy any coffees at work: I will save that way $15. Let’s plan a no coffee week once per month, I will save that way: $180

I had fix my grocery shopping at $70 per week. It will be difficult, but I can certainly lower that bill 2 weeks per month by certainly $10. Money save on a year: $240

In my monthly budget, I had put a $20 each week as weekend money. Let say that 2 weeks per month, I only spend $10 instead of $20. Money save on a year: $240

For the closing expenses, instead of spending $300 per season, let’s skip the spending for the winter season. Money save: $300

With all those below, I could save an extra $960 a year. It’s not 22k, but 23k that I could have at my disposal for investment.

The trick is to spend as less money possible, but reasonably, and to do so, you need to keep track of all of your expenses. Personally, I wrote them down inside my agenda.

One of the not easy point is grocery shopping. What I like to do before going, is to plan the recipes I will do for the week. And I only buy the items needed, to which I add a few things like the usual bread, milk, eggs, apples.

I hope all those tips will help you succeed at the difficult task of saving money!

F USA now responsible for cannabis stocks drop out: and what's next???

For a moment, I taught that nothing was going to stop our Canadian cannabis stocks from growing. Something happen with the US regarding the legislation of marijuana. But who care? I don't. Why our special pot stocks had to lose massive value in result? This is all so screw up. As you know, I took part in the cannabis game not too long ago by investing in Aphria Inc. (APH). I decided to sell APH just before leaving for my vacation. I was going home in New Brunswick for more than 2 weeks and I was feeling anxious because I wasn't going to have access to Internet everyday to check out on my precious stocks. Investment of the type of APH are super volatile. So I sold all of my APH stocks before leaving just to calm me down. And I was happy to have a few extra bucks to pay my bus ticket because I had spent a lot of money in the past few weeks. I also book a trip to Cuba in February, so I am now dealing with a super tight budget on EVERYTHING.

I am just acting like a very good girl right now, not coloring my hair, and not purchasing any makeup or clothes and I am suffering, especially for the hair. The more my natural color is showing up, the more I want to disappear. I don't know if I will be able to stand it for really long. I am pushing down on the saving money button like a sexy freak. And my only excuse is the willingness to save over $20 000 this year and hit on the magic $300 000 net worth for 2018. Quite ambitious, but not impossible. I am planning on a little post on how to do a budget this weekend. My way is like no others, you'll learn how to stretch your dollars like a real saver. I think people underestimate the power of budgeting for the long run. January is the perfect month

On a day like today, the TSX is showing me all of its love to her very favorite investor and that's being me. Today, my non-registered portfolio closed the session at $185 737.08.

After investing for a couple of years, you get to know a certain feeling on what's good and what's bad for you. Personally, I cannot live long holding super volatile stock inside my portfolio. I felt that Aphria Inc. (APH) was just too volatile to remain in my portfolio while I am away.

Closing the year 2017 with a net worth of $221 989.65

2017 had been a good and rewarding year for the TSX and its investor, but its been rocky and nothing had been made in silk sheets. At least not this year. The TSX closed the year 2017 hitting on the 16 209.13 points. Now, if the TSX can just continue to push a little, we could be hitting on ahead for the gold road and maybe the TSX could hit, for the first time in history, the mark of 17 000 points, and maybe even more by the end of 2018.

Personally, all I ever wanted so badly for 2017 was to finish the year and proudly sit my sexy ass on a 220k net worth and guess what, this fabulous Duchess got what she wanted! Earlier this year, back in March, I was reaching, for the first time ever, $200 000 in net worth. I closed the year 2017 with a net worth of $221 989.65, on which I am satisfy. My total investment value is of $318 544.64. My margin debt is at $96 554.99.

Now that I am about to open the year 2018 on almost $222k, the dream of a $300 000 net worth doesn't seem so far away. For 2018, I may be able to save about $22 000. It makes $244 000 right there. And following what, I just need 2-3 new good investments and a big push from the TSX - can we hope for a 23% gains for the TSX is 2018? If the answer is yes, super babe is just going to have what she wants one more time: a $300 000 net worth for 2018. So LET'S GO.

The story will only end at my death, but let's hope for the best in 2018.

Getting the hands on the big free bucks on the back of Canadian cannabis business

Today was a day of glorious glory and I just don't know if you are ready for any of this. However, since I blog on very everything I do on the TSX for you really own satisfaction, I just have to choice than to fully expose everything.  With a little lady love and attention, the TSX can do a lot. My TSX is a complete achiever. And right now, Aphria Inc. (APH) is working at making me happy. Fact is, whenever you read about investing is too really often really superficial. You don't get to know exactly when to buy or when to sell, or if you should hold. But no worries, its exactly why I am blogging, so you can blow in gain without having to deal with no one else. Its all between you and me.

What I have find out, is that overtime, you get to know the stock market better and the longest you'll be playing in miss shitty TSX, the better it is for you. Overtime, you can get a sense of where things are hitting - without really knowing. For example, just before I sold my HCG stocks, I knew - and I wrote it, saying that HCG was going to make more gains, and it did. And when I wrote that Eric Sprott involving in Novo Resources Corp (NVO) was a disaster, well fact is, it was a a real disaster! Bad investor like Eric Trump and short sellers like Marc Cohodes - just to name those two - are the kind of people you really need to stay far from. Whenever they are involved in a stock, its really important to stay away, because bad guys like Sprott and Cohodes bring only extreme bad volatility to whatever they touch. In other words, they changed everything they touch into really deep dirty shit.

Following Marc Cohodes illicit activities on the TSX, I wanted to go to California and burn his house... but thanks God I got a big chuck of California burning down in the flames of hell for me, and I had absolutely just really nothing to do, just watch. Its all the fault of Marc Cohodes who just push it to hard. Us Canadians, we should be more protective when it comes to our stock market. American short sellers of the type of Cohodes are causing a lot of disturbance on the market, and its really not a good thing. Canada has the best of everything, and trust me, its not because I didn't try to invest in US stocks. Nothing is interesting and more importantly, nothing seem to be really stable in the US. Its terribly hard to find a US stock with a correct chart like the way I like them: all the way up, and who had exceed the before 2008 stock crash value. When I watch this video, featuring Marc Cohodes, all those little fools listening to him...

Well it make me wanted me hit him soo hard and broke his nose, and make him eat his teeth. Its not right from Cohodes to wear the color of Canada on his pitty self. It will only bring him bad luck on the long run. Marc Cohodes is so fuck up that his story is not understandable. First of all, Marc Cohodes should have enough on his plate with his handicap son and his chicken farm. After a lucrative career, Cohodes decided to come back to bet against our glorious economy. The Canadian stock market and economy is not Marc Cohodes place to be. The TSX is all mine and is my place to shine. And its not true that I will an American pig do whatever he wants on my market.

Financial blogger are usually quiet, and are so willing to sound professional. But I am not that type of blogger. I am not delicate, I am not kind. No angel, no mercy. I cannot tolerate having a foreigner getting into our really own shit, just leave that for us to take care of. Anyhow, Americans are well-known to be dumb-dumb, we'll see how smart they'll look when North Korea will finally attack them. Fires in California participate in making the US less of a nation. Trump doesn't believe in climate change, and during that time, US healthiest state is burning to the ground. Destruction lead to destruction and as far as I am concern, seeing all of those really rich properties burning down - it may how things are supposed to be.

My stocks are my hot babies and I love them like if they would be an extension of my soul. They live, they grow, and they are fully alive. And currently........ my non-registered portfolio hit on the magic $186 410.23 chachacha. There's just no end to my luck and its not anytime soon that I will be giving up. Aphria Inc. (APH) for its part is really ALIVE. I had been pushing for the case of APH like a real drug dealer. And money is easy with APH. The stock gains more than 10% so far inside my portfolio. Can this last? My true opinion is YES, and APH has even more place to grow. IF you have money doing nothing right now, the best thing I suggest: invest in APH NOW. A couple thousands, buy, watch and see it for yourself

I wanted to be invested in something concerning cannabis because right now, marijuana is the real deal. Don't overpass this opportunity, money is just too easy. It was important for me to be involved in the medical aspect. Yes, APH is mostly focus on the medical side, but soon enough, APH will also be involved in the entertainment side and soon enough, you'll find your favorite girl with a big fat cannabis joint in her lipstick mouth, skipping up work to day trade the new Canadian gold: WEED.

This is going to be fun. ;-)

Aphria Inc. (APH) gains 2.43% inside my non-registered portfolio

Good news, I estimate my net worth to be at $218 000! My non-registered portfolio closed today session at $186 042.22, my TFSA portfolio at $63 487.59, and my RRSP portfolio, stocks only, at $38 222.78.

I still have chances to hit on 220k by the end of the year, but its going to be only by chance, and I may not even be here to figure it out and celebrate, since I will really soon be away on vacation. So next portfolio update probably going to happen only in 2018, and its only at that time that you'll find out if I made it or not to the magic number. After getting on the $200 000 net worth earlier this year, it would be to great to close this year with a clear $220k. But please, let's hope that it happen in the next couple days so I can enjoy it and be as fresh and aroogant as I can possibly be.

These days, there seem to be no end of my luck. Currently, After getting on the $200 000 net worth earlier this year, it would be to great to close this year with a clear $220k. So far, Aphria Inc. (APH) gains 2.43% inside my non-registered portfolio. Right now, all of my latest investments are in my profit zone: BMO, NA, ARE, and of course APH.

While dreaming of my 220k, I already got my suitcase ready for my vacations. Christmas gifts had been bought a long time ago. I am really all set and I am simply waiting for time to fly by and go home. Thank you and goodbye Montreal... at least a couple of days.

Aphria Inc. (APH): the newest hot sexy player of my non-registered portfolio

It feel good to have my TSX baby exceeding the 16 000 points - ONE MORE TIME. I can do a lot, but without a stock market in good shape, I cannot do much. In result of today $$$, I estimate my net worth to be sitting on a nice rock of $217 818. The ultimate fun would be to make it to the $220 000 net worth. I can make it, but the TSX will have to go a bit higher. The new gain so needed won't come from my own money because I just don't have any right now. Its going to be harder than expected to actually trade on my latest dividend stocks.

BMO is already up inside my portfolio. My plan was to actually wait for a little while and sell at profit... But its just too hard to sell good stocks that actually go up AND pay an interesting dividend.

On the other hand, Aphria Inc. (APH) is crashing my little heart in its hands just like I would be.. toilet paper?

lol

Lala. APH is going all OVER the place, so watch up.

I am confident APH will learn to behave among to way because that stock, is now mine and I control it.

Welcome in my non-registered portfolio Bank of Montreal (BMO) and Aphria Inc. (APH)!

While writing this post, I learned that Johnny Hallyday died!!! Its just so sad. Hallyday was just the pure artist, one of the greatest singer of the world.

The end of 2017 is coming in a hurry and I am just at a point where I am running in circle like a little hamster, not knowing exactly what do to about it!!! Its exciting and exhausting at the same time. I am doing the best I can. I bought today a 2018 agenda. Next year, I will be turning 38. I am just not exactly ready for that or for nothing at all. I may not have that much in term of net worth, but I do appreciate great genetics and I don't see differences between the me of now and the me of when I was 27. 38 years of age is nothing, but a dirty sexy 40 years old of age, that's going to be something my dear friends. No booty or boom jobs required - at least I can keep the money to invest. I am not exactly slim despite spending long hours at the gym.

Genetic is absolutely smart. Fact is, I need some substance on those bones to protect myself from the stock market stress. And I need to eat junk once in a while, I cannot only eat healthy all the time, really impossible for me. God gave me the perfect protector, like a hallow. You can't ever get ready for any life events, even if you really want to. You have to build yourself with what you are lucky enough to have, whether its money (because you had been born with a silver spoon in the mouth - not my case), or body strength or super fresh temper or a great hunger not for success, but for money itself, in its essence, and nothing else.

I am absolutely ready for nothing, but I am ready to burn in the flames of the TSX because I made some other investments today. I was just laughing at myself, crazy bitch. This is just strange knowing I was more in a direction to pay down my margin. Its really what I was to. But no! STOP! I want money, I want dividend! Welcome again, big fat margin! Go go go! Do you feel all of my excitement right now?

May God protect my poor little soul from my madness, and sometimes, God is really the greatest.

Let's begin with Laurentian Bank of Canada (LB). Back on November 21, just a few days ago actually, I decided to sell all of my LB shares. Laurentian Bank was having trouble with syndicate employees. I learned the LB is the only Canadian bank to have syndicated employees. Why a syndicate? I am against syndicate when the power of a CEO cannot be fully exploited. So I sell my shares.  And I don't regret the move!

Today was supposed to be a perfect day for Laurentian Bank of Canada (LB). LB announced super good profit. And I was really impressed. However, I didn't place any buy order on LB - again, just super good instincts. During the day, LB hit the $62.90 per share. However, some strange news came by and LB closed the day at $56 per share. You can read about the story right here. It didn't took long for that clown of Marc Cohodes to retweet the story regarding LB. I cannot stand the man for 2 minutes.

Maybe I shouldn't do, but today, I invested, using my margin money, in some Bank of Montreal (BMO). BMO increased its dividend. Its profit decrease, but I am confident BMO can catch up. After all, I said that I was going to get rich on Quebec Inc. shares, and so it will happen later or sooner.

I am not in favor of the legislation of the marijuana, but I am in favor of the legislation of marijuana for medical use ONLY. For those who are in need and are suffering, marijuana can help and do a lot of goods. Marijuana oil is also a powerful medication. Recently, actually just yesterday, Aphria Inc. (APH) announced the company will become a medical cannabis supplier to Shoppers Drug Mart. Will APH be the only single medical cannabis supplier to Shoppers, that, I don't know, but it was time I get in the marijuana sector and APH obey to my ethic so let's go Aphria Inc., show me what you got deep inside.

Welcome in my RRSP portfolio Quebecor Inc. Class B Subordinate Voting Shares (QBR.B)!

I am happy that I sell out Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG) back on Friday. HCG reached the $17.29 per share today, but it closed the day at $17.16. Very glad its no longer from my portfolio.

Following the sell of  Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. inside my RRSP - which happens a little way back, I had a couple hundreds to invest. I didn't have too many options in my watch list, but I stopped my choice on Quebecor Inc. Class B Subordinate Voting Shares (QBR.B). At a time where it appear really difficult to come alone some interesting trades agreement - its seem impossible to do with the US, and barely possible with China - well, it seem its voice of common sense to hit on businesses doing business exclusively here in Canada and in the case of Quebecor, exclusively in Quebec province. But actually, maybe Quebecor have deal outside Quebec province, I don't know. And I don't care. I just wanted something new in my portfolio to satisfy my taste for a new stock. I am actually like a Dracula, I buy and suck all of the blood until there's nothing left. But I didn't purchased today all of Quebecor stocks today, please be reassure.

Very strangely, this hell of Quebec province is my new eldorado.

I knew I had for mission to reduce my margin usage, but I was on a good moon today and I decided to invest in National Bank of Canada (NA) inside my non-registered portfolio. I plan to play with NA and sell it for profit later on. For now, I will be enjoying the dividend. I am looking forward to sell more of my stocks for profit. I am curious to see if NA will be profitable or not on the short term run.

Too bad the TSX went down today, it seem like market is as stress and suck up as we all are with the US and China, and North Korea. Its hard to believe that South Korea is welcoming the Winter Olympics. I wouldn't like to go there if I would be one of those poor athletes.

Saying goodbye for real to Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG)

Its hard to believe that we are already in December! I would like to stop time, just for a couple days. But that's going to happen soon because I have a few vacation days coming up and I will be gone for a little while. That mean I won't be blogging for the last couple days of December, and you'll missing me really badly.

I am trying to recall if I made any 2017 resolution, and what they where, but I am not quite sure. I of course went back at my posts of January 2017, but I stop reading after a few lines, especially after reading of myself that I - I wrote that in 2016, I learn on how bad of an investor I could be Well, guess what, 2017 had kind of be the same!! lol I can't stand reading back myself, especially when I read shitty lines that I WROTE.

Anyhow, I remember promising myself that I would no longer color my hair or do anything color related in my hair. I took the decision a few months ago and ever since, I didn't color my hair, which is exceptional because I had being coloring my hair since my mid-twenties. I also read somewhere that hair coloration could be link to breast cancer, it help push forward the decision. Beauty products, hair coloration, its like the stock market, its addictive.

I have this perfect natural dark blonde-light brown color on which any color go on very well. So over the years, I got my hair in red, brown, blond... It was really hard for me not to color my hair for the first couple weeks. I still have a bunch of blond highlights left on. I don't actually really need to color my hair, and I like seeing my natural color coming through. By not coloring my hair, I am saving several hundred dollars a year.

2017 had been an amazing year so far. Back in March, I was reaching for the really first time $200 000 in net worth. Currently, I estimate my net worth to be around $215 000. If I am lucky and the TSX keep going on like a rocket, I have a chance to reach $300 000 in net worth in 2018, but I will need a TSX in super good shape.

While working full-time AND during day time - this could be the worst combination ever, its almost impossible to follow stock properly, at the exact time that fantastic events are happening. But this past Friday was my day of glory and oh surprise, surprise, I was watching closely Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG) and HCG was on the high and experiencing some interesting gains. I saw it as my opportunity to dumb my stocks. If you are rich, awesome and have a lot of money, you could had hold to, wait and seek for even more gains but I had developed anxiety over HCG. I guess that when I bought, I was getting over excited because of Warren Buffett was entering in stocks. But now, knowing that an American bad ass of the name of Marc Cohodes is also fooling around with HCG, it was a no-no for me. I have a feeling that HCG may even go higher Monday. For my case, I had enough of HCG - its really not my type of investment.

I also sold CAE inside my non-registered portfolio. My margin usage decreased to $90 744.37, still high, but better.

Valener Inc. (VNR) could be my next investment. The big fat margin is here to stay

I didn't sell any of my valuable assets today. The stock market is being such a strange place, whenever I feel in real danger and shit in my pants alone so happy you won't smell anything well, often, really often, it turn out not to be as bad as expected. My feelings are just too strong. The stock market just have no heart, and don't give a damn on about everything, expect Euro problems or oil upside down value. It take a bitch to handle another one and the TSX is just not my love to be. I hate her so much. She's just looking forward to kill me softly and walk slowly on my bones. Before I gave up, before I sell any of my investment for superficial reasons, I will be half dead, completely turn so upside down that I will be empty inside. It feel like am I the only person on earth who's actually scare of a nuclear war or think that it could eventually happen. I don't even think of the millions of people who could died, I only think of the money I will be loosing if such tragedy would happen. Don't get me wrong, you are all a big bunch of hypocrites just like me. You are certainly not better that I am.

I guess its always good to have a sell pattern in mind like the ones explain in my previous post, just in case something happen. But personally, even right now, I would like to get rid of Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG) and I almost at a point where I could sell HCG out of my portfolio at no loss. HCG doesn't pay any dividend and I am just too in need of money. I shouldn't have invest in HCG.

Its when that I am being hit on so hard that I am actually at my best. Remember that I am a really really lazy girl. To perform, I need electroshock, and I get plenty of that on the TSX. The bitch and I, its just to late, its for life. At the end of the day, me and her remain best friend and forever in love baby. Not that I am a lesbian, but the TSX cannot be personalize as a man. It need to be a girl in her young twenties who just don't give a damn about ANYTHING, including me.

But guess what, I have a new love in my life and its name is: Valener Inc. (VNR). Valener generous dividend has everything to please me.

Sometimes, I admire investors who have the ability to sell their stocks and be completely detach, and sometimes not. Because if I sell my beautiful stocks, even partly - to pay down my margin, I know I will regret it. What will be left of me? I am not my job, but I am my sexy stocks so get out of way please because I am getting fully load. The stock market is completely contrarian to who I am. Everything that I am, what I think, the stock market doesn't care about my feelings and emotions its just doesn't care of who I am. It just never care.

Whenever I feel danger and can't hardly support it, the TSX don't mark any reactions, or barely - or go straight in the opposite direction - that's being when the super bitch decided to gain some valuable points on the back of my fear.

Like today for example, the market should had go down because we all scare of a nuclear war right? Well, hell no. The TSX gains close d to 100 points today, exceeding once again the mark of 16 000 points, and - not that I care - but something name the Dow Jones reached in the 24 000 points today. One other bad example is the 2011 earthquake in Japan. I really taught that the TSX would had pulled off hard, but it didn't. It was just enough of an even of my favorite bad girl, that's all! Nothing make sense on my way on the stock market. Its why I love it so much. I make me lose myself.

So relax and keep it cool because I just don't think it can get any wilder than this. So chill out with my favorite bad boys.

A question remain: will the TSX crash or not?

Its a good question, but in the meantime, the TSX had left me with a net worth of  $216 509.21 today.

Two sexy scenarios to pay off my big fat margin account

Everything seems to be quiet regarding North Korea, until recently. Once again, we are walking on eggs and the worst could happen. The United States shown many times during their long history signs of arrogance by their actions. The United States used nuclear weapons on Hiroshima at the really end of the Second World War, and I came to the conclusion that it will only be fair that today, the United States received, for the first time of their history, a nuclear bomb on their own land. There's also been the Vietnam war which was a complete shame, and once again, its the United States that was behind. And how many other sad history events? Fact is, for now way too long, the United States had been controlling the word. The USA has too much power in their hands, and that include a power in our very own economy. But it doesn't have to be that way. In a twisted ideal, a nuclear war could be the start of a new beginning, where the US re-begin like a third world country and where Canada stand out like a world leader.

A nuclear war would probably had disastrous effect on the stock markets worldwide, but the United States only deserved to be destroy. And now is the perfect timing, especially with that troll of Donald Trump as President. September 11 happens, but it was just not enough as punishment. Americans are still too arrogant and need to suffer. What will be will be. The US will finally get the chance to see if their famous Ground-based Midcourse Defense actually work...

With all that drama, my non-registered portfolio closed today session at $182 382.43. I cannot read the future, but its not a good time for the world, its not a good time for stock markets worldwide, but I do know its time to play it safe on my portfolio, and not to invest in anything new using my margin money. But can I really do so? Yes, I can now control myself because its has become of matter of survival.

To lower the usage of my margin, I am thinking about the selling at first the following: CAE Inc. (CAE) - which will bring in cash $3 372.50, and reduce my margin to $94 189.89 (my margin usage is currently up to $97 562.39. Super babe is not proud, but I got to pay down my credit cards...)

And here are some other stocks that I am thinking about pushing away from my non-registered portfolio, and the amount of money that it will bring in my portfolio:

Enbridge Inc. (ENB): $1 272
TransCanada Corp (TRP):   $1 540
Aecon Group Inc. (ARE): $1 949
Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. (ENF): $10 780
Northland Power Inc. (NPI): $2 365
WSP Global Inc. (WSP): $2 943
ATCO Ltd. (ACO.Y): $1 949
K-Bro Linen Inc. (KBL): $4 000
Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG): $3 300
My US stocks: $3 889
Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL): $26 545.22

Following what, I will have left $33 657.67 to pay down, and to pay it all, I would next sell stocks that I hold inside my TFSA and following what, the balance will be of $0.

OR another scenario, to take advantage of the fact that we don't pay tax on stocks that are being sell inside a TFSA portfolio:

1-I sell all of the stocks I hold inside my TFSA portfolio: $62 465.78.

Following what, I will have left $31 724.11out to pay on my margin account.

So I would sell:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL): $26 545
My US stocks: $3 889
TransCanada Corp (TRP): $1 540

Two scenarios for a new beginning and start on a new base, with absolutely no margin debt. Tempting, but I am not there right now.

Hot news: my net worth is now very close to the $220 000 - if not right on it

Its really sad, I just learn that my very very long time super crush Patrick Bourgeois had died today from cancer. I wasn't aware that he had cancer. I had the chance to saw the BB many times in my life, they actually came many times in my little town in New Brunswick. Every times was always a moment of joy and excitement. Quebec is losing one of his good song writer.

I should had post an update of my portfolio this weekend because its now official, I am really on top of the game now, but I didn't have time - too busy watching good TV over the Internet. I watch one after the other all the episodes of The Deuce. The Deuce is very catchy and sexual - quite a good TV to listen to when you are unfortunately single and need to keep it warm in your bedroom when your one and half apartment seem to be located outside rather than inside. And now, in result, I just want to sniff a good long line of coke, but a good beer is doing the thing. The Deuce is very good, but its not to be watch around children, or even in company of your old folks or relatives because it could turn into weird situations when girls hit boys, and boys hit girls, and boys hit boys.

Let say things clearly: watching The Deuce episodes is like watching a porn movie. You do in a very private matter. James Franco is amazing in his leading role. I just made the discovery, Jake Gyllenhaal has a sister, who happen to be also an actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal, who played a hooker who eventually turn into a porn actress. Its quite surprising that the daughter of well-known film director accept such role. Right now, porn is the new normal. Everything seem to be acceptable, and you wouldn't even be surprise if I put naked pictures of myself like the other girl on my blog. All you need to see from me is my very wonderful portfolio and really nothing else: that's where you get the

That's how I spent most of my weekend basically and that's why I didn't post any portfolio updates. My non-registered portfolio closed last Friday session at $185 972.38, my TFSA portfolio at $62 741.55, and my RRSP portfolio at $38 380.78. And, surprise, surprise, I estimate my net worth to be at $219 474.71. My investment value in Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) now exceed $51 000, in one single shoot.

This is what happen when you pick a super good stock and hold on tight for a very long time. Like Susan Brunner explains not too long ago, being an investor is not difficult. I am the living proof of that. Once you understand the TSX exist to satisfy your very own benefits, you are good to go. Your worst mistake would be not to be an investor.

Another good day for Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH)

Today was another great day for Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH). Its now, official, my investment in PBH now exceed the mark of $50 000 and I feel really comfortable with that new reality. Where PBH will go, I go and follow tight. Its quite exceptional, Premium Brands hit the $109.80 value today.

My non-registered portfolio closed today session at $184 242.02, my TFSA portfolio at $62 616.76 and my RRSP portfolio at $38 149.94. My margin usage being at $94 641.86, I estimate my net work to be now at a wow $218 000. Its looking good for a 220k net worth by the end of 2017....

Wednesday, November 22, 2017

My amazing Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) is on top of the world and so am I

WOW, now, this is it. My non-registered portfolio closed at $183 283.40, my TFSA portfolio at $62 618.34, and my RRSP - stock only portfolio - $38 102.40. I suspect my net worth to be at the very close $217 000. And that is happening now because of many factors. In my wildest dreams, I am closing the year 2017 with a net worth of $220 000 and 2018... with a a net worth of $300 0000.  Everything is absolutely possible while holding on tight to the best of the TSX. And its a good thing because with Christmas coming soon, money is flying away. And its not like I am spending that much.

My Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) closed today session on a very high 7% gains. PBH acquired business evolving in the sector of food manufacturing on a regular basis. Today, Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) announced the acquisition of 3 business: 100% interest in Buddy's Kitchen and Raybern Foods, and 50% interest in Shaw Bakers. I don't know any of these 3 businesses, but seem like the TSX got amaze because PBH gains over 7% today alone..

Fact is, my idea on PBH was really right. When all of your feelings and impressions tell you to hold like a wolf that will be taking a bit in the ass of a big fat pig, HOLD tight, don't move. Its not tomorrow that I will be doing otherwise. Most of the time, people opinion is awfully wrong. Its all between me and my stocks and no one is welcome to interfere. Just read quietly and calmly.

My sweet love Quebec stocks: getting rich on the best that Quebec Inc. has to offer

This evening had been a busy one drinking wine and doing my nails. I don't anything to celebrate, if not that I have a very sexy portfolio and it just can't get better and if it does, it will be the work of God himself. All that money unfortunately doesn't come for free and I have a feeling that this is going to be a beep beep beep very very long week! But at least, my nails are pretty now. Whenever going to happen, I am ready now.

My non-registered portfolio closed today at a good $179 830.14, my TFSA portfolio at $62 554.27 and my RRSP portfolio - stocks only at always - at $37 802.99. Drunk or not, no one can take away by fabulous proud of holding on to the best of the best, and that include the best Quebec companies. Ok, it might sound strange at first, I get it, BUT fact is, there's many many great companies here in Quebec province that totally deserved to be in your investment portfolio

Today, I decided to sell two stocks from the Quebec Inc. world: Laurentian Bank of Canada (LB), this was from my TFSA portfolio, and Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B), which was my RRSP portfolio. I sold both stocks at profit. I decided it was time to sell LB because its a small bank compare to the big players that we have out there. Currently, Laurentian Bank of Canada (LB) is facing many problems. I didn't know that LB was the only bank of the country to be syndicate. I decided to sell when I can. Never again I want to be push over the edge like I did with Just Energy Group Inc. (JE). I know no longer want to deal with troublemaker stocks.

I also decided to sell the little I had invested in Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B) because the company is currently strategies that involved tax heaven. It could be that other of the companies that I hold have assets in tax heaven. But fact that Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD.B) is both a Quebec business AND deal with tax heavens - it make it too much for me. so goodbye AT.B.

Following my sell of Laurentian Bank of Canada (LB) inside my TFSA portfolio, I decided to reinvest the money in Savaria Corporation (SIS).

Among the top best Quebec stocks, Savaria Corporation (SIS) is certainly a very interesting one. I had experiment very good gains on SIS. SIS is the number one of the number one top best Quebec business that you should be holding in your portfolio NOW before it get too expensive - you'll thanks me later.

Here are some others Quebec inc. stocks that  I had been holding for quite sometimes and on which I made very good capital gains and collect dividend:

Canadian National Railway Co (CNR)
BCE Inc. (BCE)
Saputo Inc. (SAP)
Lassonde Inc. (LAS.A)
WSP Global Inc. (WSP)
CAE Inc. (CAE)
National Bank of Canada (NA)
CGI Group Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (GIB.A)

And newcomers who had joined the best portfolio of the world really recently:
Boralex Inc. Class A Shares (BLX)
Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH)

Holding on to the best Quebec companies can bring in a lot in terms of capital gain to any good Canadian investors, including me.

Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG) is getting back on track

I wasn't expected any of this, but the "unwanted stock", alias TransCanada Corp (TRP) received quite some good news today. The unfamous Keystone XL pipeline project got approved. I feel bad for those who will now be living at risk of the event of a oil weak, which is among the worst thing ever. Imagine having no access to clean water or clean land. Its totally disgusting. I should be happy, because I am a shareholder of TransCanada Corp (TRP), but its not joy or excitement that I feel. Its hard to believe that this is actually happen.

Anyhow, I have great news. Home Capital Group Inc. (HCG) gains today 7.02%... for no obvious reasons. Its been said however that its because some analysts raised their target price on HCG. Thank you analysts! This is helping my cause and I am not missing much now to experiment a gain with that investment. And once I will, it won't be long, I will press the sell button. I know what I need to do. And it will help to reduce the usage of my margin.

With a TSX exceeding the 16 000 points, my non-registered portfolio reached $179 327.11, my TFSA portfolio at $62 439.22 and my RRSP portfolio, stocks only, at $37 639.66.

TransCanada Corp (TRP): the unwanted stock

With the recent changes made to my portfolio, I was curious to find out if my net value was about the same as for last month. Nothing change in that regards, which reassure me. My margin usage is down to $94 670.35. I am been thinking about different scenarios to decrease this amount, but I am not in a run for those moves, at least not yet.

For example: I am thinking about selling TransCanada Corp (TRP) - because of the recent oil leak in Amherst, South Dakota USA. This incident concerns the Keystone pipelin.

Its hard to be a Canadian investor and not to be invested in the oil sector. Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. (ENF) and Emera Inc. (EMA) are two stocks in the oil sector that been in my portfolio since the very early beginning. And not to forget the beautiful powerful Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL). The oil sector is almost impossible to ignore. There's just too much money to be made and dividend distributions are really generous. Oil stocks are not always easy to hold, like Suncor for example, but the oil stocks I hold inside my portfolio are pretty easy going.

There's downsides to be involved in the oil sector, and they are mostly ethics. But it seem like we are all a bunch of hypocrites. I hold stocks in the oil sector because of their good capital gains and juicy dividend. Governments allows citizens to continue buying fuel cars when electric ones exist. We continue to exploit our oil resources like if climate change don't matter. In 2017, I don't understand why automobile manufacturers continue to produce fuel cars. There's many little simple things like that who seem so obvious, but its being ignored, or not done, because governments worldwide are lazy and we'll pay sooner or later that laziness.

I am not a good example, I am not a good citizen, I hold oil stocks in my portfolio.

Welcome in my TFSA portfolio Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH)!

My non-registered portfolio closed today session at $179 289.23, my TFSA portfolio at $62 267.9, and my RRSP portfolio (stocks only) at $37 613.67. My margin usage is at $94 497.09, and I estimate my net worth to be around $212 000, which is great. Its like I would have never sell my Just Energy Group Inc. (JE) shares, but JE is no longer in the world best portfolio of all time, and that being all mine of course. Don't agree? Just stop reading. Leave me alone with my best investments and my secrets. Because everything on this blog is highly confidential and must be read with a lot of care and love. Its actually like I never had face any trouble at all. I am giving birth to a couple thousand without too much pain.

Today, I bought a new investment in my TFSA account: Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH). I have good hopes for this new hot awesome, only for the good reason that if you add an "I" after the "R" of Richelieu Hardware's symbol ticket, you get, RICH. This kind of stock like RCH just fit me well, despite being at the total opposite of who I am, and what my interests are. Its hard to believe, but life includes much more than what you or I just know, or like. If I would remain in the circle of the well known, I wouldn't be holding on to that many stocks in my portfolio.

When Warren Buffett says that well-known sentence, it disturbs me, that you should only invest in stocks that you understand, well, it's too bad, but its all bullshit for me. Buffett, like many other multimillionaires, or just like Desjardins who didn't want me to invest - a long time ago - in a so wanted mutual fund that to invest in - those are individuals who want to keep you away of the exceptional. Its all right not to understand the stock market, and not to get all that a company is about. I invest without knowing anything and things are just really great. I don't know anything, but I am a good chart reader, and I stricly based all my investment decisions on my feeling and deep impressions, without almost never doubting. My persona doesn't cheat on me.

These days, I had been blogging almost every day, checking on my stocks are trying to make the best decisions for myself. Its that all party fun, but it seems to me that just something is about to happen. I can feel the $250 000 net worth just being around the corner and the 300k is not that out of reach. It's in the air of time. Something is about to happen and I am not exactly sure what it is. It could be maybe just the excitement of having - again, a new stock all for myself. A stock that I hope will bring me richness and beautiful dividend.

Today, Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH) had been hit hard by the "Dividend Girl effect". On it first day in my TFSA portfolio, RCH closed the session at 0.84%+. So welcome, Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH), bring happiness and red hot money in my portfolio please. And obey me.

Saying goodbye to Keg Royalties Income Fund (The) (KEG.UN)

Like expected, Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) made some valuable gains, beefing up by 4.69%. Readers seem to have some problems to understand my special relationship with PBH. I had been invested in Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH) since February 2010. It's not like I had invested $45 000 of my very own money in PBH 2 or 3 months ago. My PBH investment had grown over 400% since 2010. This baby has been in my portfolio for 7 years, and it's been exploding in the wood, making me a rich and very special investor. Is there any end to PBH grow? No end, but a slow down like the one experimented now is just really normal, just like its normal for the stock market to do down from time to time. A 16 000 points were too much of luck, I needed a little slowdown time to take my breath. And now the time has come to get rid of some stocks! And so did I.

Fact is, it's better to get rid of stocks who have chances to deal with trouble when you can sell at profit, rather than selling in a rush of pain AND losing money because of those hotties who don't behave and don't care much of my love.

Like it was planned yesterday, I sold out my Dollarama Inc. (DOL) shares. The money directly went on my margin. I am now using $94 422.78 out of my margin money. It's not going to be paid overnight, but I like to see that amount do down gradually. I also decided to sell off my Keg Royalties Income Fund (The) (KEG.UN) investment that I was holding until today inside my TFSA portfolio. Susan Brunner concerns regarding KEG.UN just got into me.

My non-registered portfolio closed today session at $178 886.06, my TFSA at $61 844.80 and my RRSP portfolio at $37 351.15. I estimate my net worth to be around $211 000, which is very fine. I own a big part of my richness to Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH), but to many other stocks who are taking care of me like real soft lovers. I am a lady of many many stocks. And I love my stocks. Right now, the love is real for Savaria Corporation (SIS). SIS is doing very well. I own this jewel to Richard Dufour, a La Presse's journalist who wrote an article about SIS a little while back. I need to find new a new stock that is just like SIS, a leader in its niche that perform well, and that I can hold inside my non-registered without having to worry about anything. How comes a Quebec journalist could possibly know SIS? Its a mystery. However, Richard Dufour is like Jean-François Tardif, I have to admit that he knows his stuff.

SIS might be a Quebec company, but no matter what, SIS is my rock. Its my stock, its my love. PBH, SIS, and just so many others. I am such a so talented stock picker, it's amazing. And surprise surprise... I am about to have a new stock in my TFSA portfolio: Richelieu Hardware Ltd. (RCH).
If RCH is good enough for Susan Brunner, its good enough for me.

Getting ready for another goodbye: Dollarama Inc. (DOL)

It's really heartbreaking to see Just Energy Group Inc. (JE) going all the way down like that. Again today, JE lose 3.26% of its value. I am very happy that I had the opportunity of selling all of my shares at $5.90. It was the right thing to do. I should have done it earlier too, but that's another story. And this signs a new personal era for me. No more time to waste. I buy what I want and I sell what I want. The usual way, but this time, it's me without Just Energy inside my portfolio.

Today, I was surprised... What's going on with my very precious Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH)? PBH is my baby, one of the greatest proud of my non-registered portfolio and I watch it several times a day. But today... disaster! Just after I had sold JE, life was supposed to get better, not worst. Anyway, I am holding on for now, I am under the impression that this is a little correction, nothing to get anxious about. But am I right? But yes, of course!

In my position, I bought my shares a long time ago, and I will continue to watch the situation closely. It's not like I am losing money right now on the initial capital invested in Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH).

Today, my non-registered portfolio closed today session at $179 001.31, my TFSA portfolio at $61 919.01, and my RRSP portfolio, at $37 195.49. And surprise, the usage of my margin is down to a better $96 765.07, following the transferred of my last paycheck on my margin. A 96k is better, but I can do better.

Our favorite Susan Brunner had post yesterday an article regarding Dollarama Inc. (DOL). If you are smart, after reading that article, you'll simply sell off all of your DOL stocks. Its what I am going to do tomorrow. I prefer to stick with my best stocks, rather than having a bomb that can explode at anything.

DOL hadn't had a long life in my non-registered portfolio. I had been holding on to DOL since September 2017. And since that time, Dollarama Inc. (DOL) had gained 5.97% inside my non-registered portfolio. I am planning the sell for tomorrow, which will generate a little profit, with no money lost. Tomorrow, my margin will only be $94 542.07. Still a big amount, but its decreasing.

Saying goodbye for real to Just Energy Group Inc. (JE)

It wasn't a fun move, but as soon as the clock hit 9:30 am this morning, I sold out all of my Just Energy Group Inc. (JE) shares at $5.90. Following my morning sell, Just Energy continues to decrease in value and close today session at $5.83. So I believe that selling my JE shares was the right thing to do. I wouldn't be surprised that JE continues it road all the way down again tomorrow.

My non-registered portfolio closed today session at $182 921.87, my TFSA at $62 106.93 and my RRSP (stocks only) at $37 304.33. Following the sell of Just Energy Group Inc. (JE), I injected the money into my margin account, to decrease its usage. It feels better to see it now under the 100k mark. My margin account is now at $98 093.08 and good news, I estimate my net worth to be at around $212 500. Despite the sell of Just Energy, I am doing fine. I sell my shares at a good time. If I would have wait more, it could had negatives effect on my net worth. And I won't ever let that happen. I will be dead before giving up.

Let say it was a short one sexy rabbit. Sometimes, running away as quickly possible is the only option. I never taught that I would ever sell JE of my life. But yeah, the time has come to move on and it's not something I have a problem to do. Goodbye Just Energy love and sweet kisses. I rely on my other great stocks to push my net worth ahead. Business is looking great for Jamieson Wellness Inc. (JWEL), who could benefit from the flu season. Let's go people, times to buy some Jamieson vitamin C to boost you up.

I am happy to see my margin going under the $100 000, BUT - I am still thirsty for new stocks and just at a time where I am at my very best, it's not now that I am going to stop searching. I am having the time of my life on Stockopedia, going through all of the screens over and over again. So many great stocks. And right now, one stock that was too obvious maybe is coming strong. Why not invest in Rogers Communications Inc. (RCI.B)? It was the perfect chart like I love them and a nice almost 3% dividend yield.

Other stocks appear to be interesting:

Cargojet Inc. (CJT)
Richelieu Hardware (RCH)
MedReleaf (LEAF)
COGECO Inc (CGO)
Calian (CGY)
InterRent Real Estate Investment T (IIP.UN)
Martinrea International Inc (MRE)
Agellan Commercial Real Investme (ACR.UN)
Quebecor Inc. (QBR.B)
